On June 23 the “Symphonia Phonotone”. dance orchestra played many titles in the style of the big dance orchestras of the 1920s and 1930s, bringing back syncopated dance music and early jazz.
We played in front of a sold out house, with standing room only.
A big THANK YOU to all our patrons.
"Tap your Feet" was a special title; the hand written arrangement was recovered from the Jack Hylton library at Lancaster University in the UK and transcribed for us by Jon Burr. Have a look at a recording of this title!
